Great Planting for Great Pollinators and Beneficial Insects

Did you know that over 97% of the insects in an average landscape are beneficial to the environment or completely harmless? Learn how to attract the “good bugs” to your yard by planting the right mix of native plants. An assortment of plants discussed will be available for purchase after the program.

Bringing Beautiful Butterflies, Skippers, and Moths Into Your Yard With The Right Plants

Have you noticed that there are far fewer butterflies around now than there were when you were a kid? Learn how to attract and support these spectacular creatures in your own yard by planting “host plants" to sustain the caterpillars, and “nectar plants” to feed the adults. After the session, you can buy some of the plants featured in the program.
